Oh dear Helen, I’ll have everything crossed for you , I hope they agree to the injection, it’s the least they could do considering the time you’re having to wait! Will be in touch soon, was hoping to in the week but I’ve had constant headaches and migraines, a bit easier today but we’ve got a very poorly doggie here and we’re very worried about him, he may have a tumour on his liver, he’s having a scan on Wednesday, I don’t think it will be good news😞

Thanks so much diane for your good wishes. It never rains but pours for you. Illhave everything crossed for jak, what a horfible worry for you both and isnt it always at xmas ?. Do let me know how you get on. Im sure the migraines must be stress. Mine have suddenly returned after being so good. Its awful yours are so lasting.

Thanks Helen, yes I think the stres and worry and the Pregabalin wasn’t helping and now my tummy is acting up, now trying low dose pred again! Sorry you’re getting them too, they’re so debilitating and exhausting, I do hope they settle soon for you... sending lots of warm hugs your way 🤗🤗🤗, catch up soon my lovely ❤️ 🥰❤️xxx

Do hope the low dose pred helps diane. Pregabalin is very strong. You could always try gabapentin. It might be kinder. Ive stayed on it for years. All the very best lovely. Xx🎄❤🐤❤

Hi again dianne, just a wee thought steroids can cause stomach disturbances thru gastritis ( not diorhea, thats different ). Im sure your onto it but do you take a stomach protector?. Good luck this week. Xx💃❤💃👋

Hope weathervane your injections are helping. Ive just emailed appts dept to ask if i could have one to help me wait. Toe is just awful. My nurse friend encouraged me to do it. Fingers tightly crossed for xmas. How is your prep going now for it?. December seems to be disappearing fast!. Enjoy Strictly, tough now as its the semis but we get two dances. Should be lovely.

Hi misty , thanks for message 🤗 The injections have helped , was worried about thumb but rheumy used v fine needle so didn’t hurt, still triggering but pain much improved. My hip is also alot better and sleep has improved. For some reason ive been quite stressed and anxious the last few days , a friend came round for a distanced coffee and we had a good chat which helped, strictly also helping tonight.

I hope you can get a toe injection asap as you have been suffering for so long , ive everything crossed for you🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻.

Im totally disorganised this year for Christmas , I can’t get into the spirit, though did get decorations up eventually on Thursday . Have you any tips about injecting some Christmas spirit???

Hello weathervane, so pleased your hip and thumb are better. Being able to sleep is so wonderful. I do hope you get a long time with relief as you've suffered a lot too.

I can empathize about no christmas spirit or enthusiasm. We are the same and havent put our decorations up either so your not alone!. We're so tired that we cant face it i guess im not sure.

Ive just looked at all my cards and decided ill only send to special ones this year. Ive organised so much with my health that i havent the energy.

I have also managed to get approval by my Rheumy to have an extra dose of steroid when i have the covid jab to prevent a nother flare!. Really pleased about that.

Could you also be worried about having the jab and also the effect of these xmas arrangements creating more cases in jan?. Its almost inevitable another lockdown is imposed. It makes me feel very jumpy and ive felt more worried about my parents going shopping as its busier now. Its all very unsettling!.

Can' t imagine having our normal lives back can you?.

My rheumy said they still haven’t got guide lines about when vaccine should be given with biologics , so might have to put it off because of rituximab and T cell depletion , my friend works in oncology so will get vaccine soon but she’s worried about how will react with blood pressure meds !If im offered it i will have it , I usually tolerate drugs well so I hope all would be ok , i want to get back to a bit of normality as i think it is getting me down .

One thing that lifts me is watching all the wee birds at bird , particularly our 2 robins that follow you if you do anything in the garden 😀

We've got to be guided by our Rheumy's as to whether we can have the vaccine and when. I did see the query about biologics and someone on forum put about the possibilty of not taking mtx for a fortnight before to get better protection. Its all worries we shouldnt be having and we have to trust our doctors to mske the right decisions for us!.

Its the length of time now weathervane that we've been so confined. Not surprising its getting us down. Also we need spring and longer,brighter days.

I love your robin's thats really cute and special they would do that. Maybe its getting to them as well. Ha!. We've got to appreciate these things as you are.

Gorgeous little chick. 😍 We had a poultry farm in Australia when I was an infant and I loved the wee chicks and the ducklings and seeing how they grew and matured. After torrential rain and a flood one time a lot of tiny chicks were wet and lifeless and my dad thought we’d lost them. Mum put an old towel in the largest roasting tin she had and set the oven to the minimum setting, placed the lifeless chicks on the towel and put them in the warm oven. Slowly one by one their heads lifted and they started to chirp. It was like a miracle and they all survived. Seeing baby chicks like that always reminds me of that occasion.🥰 Thanks for that Misty. 👍🏻 I’m looking forward to Strictly tonight as I know you will be. Getting very exciting now!
