Hello, ill attach a few pics, but i have red bumps on tops of hands and now on my palms that feel like sharp needles when i squeeze my hands. I have been diagnosed with Lupus last fall and take hydroxychloroquine. Curious if just a normal part of lupus or should have other concerns.

Red bumps related to Lupus?
Thanks for posting this. I don’t have any answers but I get these too so would be interested to see what others say.
I hope you get some answers, jrcollier15
Yup, I randomly get similar bumps. They come and go without any pain. I've shown my rhumy and neither they nor I personally have been too fussed by them. I don't think they really had any answer on what to do with them either!
But it's always best to get it checked out yourself as different things affect different people in many different ways.
I get red bumps like this also, though I haven't for quite some time. For me, they are very sensitive when touched, like the needles you describe. When they heal, they often become pitted and then eventually disappear. I'm curious if you also have raynauds? That might be why you get these red bumps more so than lupus.
After meeting with Rheumatologist and Derm, they think maybe eczema related to lupus. Supposedly hydroxychloroquine should take care of it and over the counter cream. so starting there! thanks for your input!!!
