Can someone please take a look at my skin after being in this lovely sun, and advise?

Please can someone take a look at my pic please and advise. My skin seems to be reacting to the sun, does this look right for lupus? I wanted to add more photos but seem to only be able to add 1. X

It is hard to see much from a photo. Is it the general redness you are concerned about? The distribution of the rash, which is important, is cut off in the picture.

Were you direct sun? Do you have other symptoms?

Looks like sunburn or heat rash. Be sure you are using high factor sunscreen and that it hasn’t expired

There are other reasons for a reaction to sun.

If you want to add more than one image to a post you have to make a collage separately and then upload it as one item.

You can get facial rashes from a lot of things... For example, were you out drinking alcohol in the sun? You can get a rash like that from alcohol. Certain drugs and medications also increase sun sensitivity. Could also be rosacea. Or a heat rash.

In addition, you can get rashes like that from allergies, including inhalant allergies. If you're allergic to pollen and go outside in a park or the sun and breath in a lot, your face can get a rash.

Hives can look like that, if you ate or drank something you're allergic to, even mildly allergic.

If it comes and goes rapidly, it is probably not a lupus rash. But if it sticks around for a while, it could be. If it happens a lot or is uncomfortable, I'd see a doctor for it.

Thanks all, wish I could figure how to add more than 1 photo...I already get urticaria..and I haven't sun bathed. Seems to start reacting when the weather picked up. I've saved photos for my consultant.
