Most likely too much information but I’m so bloated. I literally look like I’m 400 years pregnant and full of wind 🥴
I’ve been back on steroids for approximately 3 weeks and I’m wondering if it could be these?
I seem to have a few issues at the moment with my bowel. Just not sure I should go back to my gp with another problem to add to the list??? Or if it’s just nothing 🤷♀️

I think persistent bloating and bowel issues should always be discussed with your GP. CRC in under forty year olds is on the rise and early diagnosis is the only good cure. Talk to your GP and let them decide if you need further investigation or not. I am not saying this to scare you but my husband's only symptoms were gas and bloating before his CRC diagnosis before fifty. Good luck.
Thank you. I’m not concerned it’s something gastly but I know something isn’t right. I need to check through prescription side affects maybe to do with that. I just feel so heavy 😔
Best check with your GP. My problems have been thoroughly investigated. The first time I saw my GP it was seen to very quickly in order to rule out anything serious.
You should definitely go to your GP. Not only do connective tissue diseases affect the GI tract but medications do too. And there are better drugs now. Dr. d Cruz might want you to see a GI doctor to figure out what is going on, particularly with your neuropathy.
I do now - a lot! Really, what K says is best. Connective tissue problems can cause GI difficulties. I find Rheumy, Gastro consultants etc don’t necessarily join the dots, but deal with their own parts of the jigsaw.
The only medic who treats me like as a whole is my psychiatrist. He’s a rare chap though.
I went gp this morning and she’s goinb to run some bloods but thinks it more likely irritable bowel or caused by one of my medications. I think meditation is not helping somewhere along the line xx
I don't know if you're into herbal teas..but one of my daughter's used to get irritable bowel..hubby has it too. They both find peppermint tea helpful..it helps with passing wind n gently calms the stomach..it's very refreshing too!!
Yes if you’re worried get it checked, not the easiest subject to talk about I know but I suffer this a while and your picture of tornado is great to fit wind probs 😂 I sometimes have peppermint tablets which help wind a bit. I was diagnosed with ibs when young so any tummy troubles are ibs but you have to be careful, my brother was told ibs then two years later bowel cancer. I had colonoscopies every 3 years because of pre cancerous polyps removed but haven’t been for 5 years now as just seems other probs taken over , I have to be knocked out for procedure and with breathing probs anaesthetic worries me especially as no explanation other than probably asthma. Recently I was asked to join this thing my medical and once I joined it showed letters sent to me but at old address for genetic testing because of polyps and family history.i thought they just weren’t concerned. I don’t know how this has happened as always informed of change of address so shows theirs failure in the system and that’s help I would have liked but too late now.,The way I see it just because you have ibs if you are worried about something get it checked because ibs doesn’t make you immune to other bowel problems and should not always be assumed it’s ibs if already diagnosed.
Sounds like between us we could solve the worlds energy problems with our wind 💨🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Energy generating. I’d love to figure out how to connect myself to supply my own home 😜
I thought I may have developed celiac. It’s the past 3 months I’ve noticed bowel changes but this past week I look bloated all over. I’m going to try limiting the amount I eat and see my bowels respond better.
The only thing left on me that appears normal is my bloody toe nails 🤦♀️ X
I’m always bloated and it’s hilarious I’m big boobed as well so look awful.😡 whatever’s going on I get periods of loss of appetite and occasionally nausea , I’ve never eaten less than I do now yet still bloat so can’t link it to any certain foods.
I have ulcerative colitis. When I was pregnant with my son I couldn’t have my regular medication so my GP recommended a lot of peppermint in my diet. (As others have suggested)
