Rash worse in heat?

Hi all.

I posted on here a few days ago but just want some further advice if people don't mind., I'm from Scotland, and am a female of 26. I have all the typical Lupus symptoms. I saw my GP last Thursday who referred me to Rheumatology and said it could be Lupus, told me to research it. I've had no test results yet, although I think maybe he's just leaving that to the Rheumatologist. Anyway, I'm attaching a picture of what my rash looks like when I'm just out of the shower, (not very hot may I add) as well as some other photos of my skin. The purple mottling on my legs is what it's like when I'm cold, and the little raised pimples/red patches are on my arm permanently. Does anyone else with Lupus have similar issues? The rash on my face is there permanently and it's like this when it's flaring really badly, not just when I'm in the heat. The heat or the cold makes it far worse though. As I've no diagnosis yet, I've been given no medication or anything. I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice in the meantime?

It could be lupus, but there are other things that can cause this, like rosacea, or repeated exposure to things you're allergic to.

In the meantime, you can try avoiding things that lead to rosacea and lupus flares, such as avoiding the sun, eliminating alcohol etc. You can google what causes flares for both of those to see what to avoid.
