I was sitting in our living room this morning looking out of the window, and because I am a worrier, I had words come into m mind which made me think. So I wrote a poem. This is not based on anyone on the sites across Health Unlocked. Just thoughts about the predicament the world is in
It is called
STAY AT HOME
Why oh why are you coming by us
When you know you have coronavirus
You walk around, so sure of yourself
Whilst wrecking someone else's health
STAY AT HOME comes the shout
And stop doing your walk about
You think it's good that no one knows
It will soon come out as your illness grows
What do you feel as you infect your friends
And ones you love: this list never ends
So do the right thing, you know it's true
It's not as if it's a bout of flu
The rules for us are mans protection
Just sit down and upon reflection
You know what you're doing when you walk the street
You meet your friends and you take a seat
For you dear person whoever you are
Protect our journey in the mourning car
STAY AT HOME!!!!

Where you are people are actually stopping and visiting when walking?
Here, a lot are out walking because we need some fresh air, but everyone is careful to stay away from others, just walk, don’t sit, don’t touch, don’t visit with.
I’m sorry this is what you are seeing going on around you.
Hello. Watching a lot of news reports and ones not doing as they are told from the government just brought the words to mind. so I wrote it.
Where we live is quiet as everyone around here are pensioners.
My thoughts are about all these poor people are going to sleep in death, some are doing so because of the ones who don't care and will do what they want
That’s so sad!! Well, most our walking has been were no one else has been around at all. The few times we’ve seen others, we’ve passed at a far distance, but I haven’t seen anyone coughing or sneezing. 🙏so hopefully.
Our governor just passed a law yesterday that we must all wear masks any time shopping. Not just those high risk. But where to find masks?
The danger is not only when symptoms occur but in everyday exhaling. Moisture within our airways comes out with every exhale and every word. Then it lingers in the air for one hour.
It is carried by the wind so anyone anywhere that wind deposits it can be affected.
This is the unexplained reality everyone faces.
Masks are necessary. Make them from cotton fabric, bandanas material cut into bandana shapes. Nothing that is loosely woven where mists of droplets can easily deposit and enter your airways.
If exposed DONT touch your face. Carefully remove clothing and place in washing machine on hottest water clothes can stand. Drying on warm if possible.
Wash any exposed skin/hair so that touching them in any fashion and then by habit transferred to eyes nose mouth won’t happen.
This situation is so serious every precaution is absolutely necessary.
Leaving groceries outside for 3 days if possible otherwise wash down everything with sanitizing wipes or soapy water. Then store properly.
Unfortunately my husband has to go in to work everyday. (Well, 5 days a week). First thing he does when he gets home is shower before I can hug him hello. His clothes go right in the wash. It’s the best we can do. I googled and sent him the article about the Mt Vernon choir. So sad!! Originally the campus he works at ordered masks for all professors, administrators and other staff EXCEPT their law enforcement officers. On the day they shut down, my husband Scott sent me a picture of the school handing out laptops in the parking lot (to students who drive Bentleys and Ferrari’s!) and all staff were in masks, gloves, and medical grade coveralls. All police officers were only in uniform (liberal school with no respect for their own PD!)
So all other staff have been off campus for at least a week and they are just now ordering masks for them.
