Self isolating and sick note

How to get sick note if self isolating because of Lupus and being on prednisolone? My GP told me to use 111. Anyone managed to get one?

Thanks. But this is only for people with symptoms or someone in the household. Not for vulnerable people?

My understanding is that the NHS are writing directly to vulnerable people with advice to self isolate. No idea when or what they will say!

Until then, it’s as per Paul and Pinkypir2008 replies.

The fact that self-isolation advice for vulnerable people comes out of government advice should be acceptable to reasonable employers.

Hi, my occupational health at work told me this morning I didn't need a sick note cause I'm in the vulnerable group and that they will take care of it. She said they may need to check with my doctor just to clarify but I wasn't required to do anything else.

It is best to speak your employer. ACAS has encouraged them to be flexible when requiring sick notes related to the coronavirus.

Thanks. I will try and speak with my work on Monday. My line of work can not be done at home unfortunately. I will be back here to ask for more help if I don't get anywhere. Thank you again,, everyone has been really helpful.
