Sick note ESA
That after the time stated on your sick note you will be able to return to work. So if it says two weeks, for example, you will be "well" and able to return to your employer.
You are certified by the Doctor unfit to work PERMANENTLY , and you don't need to see a Doctor about your fitness to work anymore
If your sick note says unfit to work for one month and they don't need to see you again then if you are still feeling unwell at the end of that time the onus is on you to return to your doctor to obtain another sick note. However, if you feel well enough to return to work at the end of the month then you can just return to work without seeing the doctor again to be signed back as fit. Hope that makes sense and hope you're feeling better soon
Hi there,
Your doctor will usually sign you off work for a set period of time, for example this could be one or two weeks, after which they assume you will be fit to go back to work.
If you feel that after this period of time you are still too unwell to go back to work, you should visit your doctor again to discuss the need for more time off and ask to be given a new sick note.
