Hi all I received letter today from scan it reads

salivary gland ultrasound scan showed non specific changes only.

So I have the above and below information does this mean I don't have sjorgrens Syndrome?

Minor salivary gland lip biopsy show features consistent with sjorgrens Syndrome.

Thank you this is so frustrating worrying xx

Hi YP! This question is best answered by your physician.

With that being said, a positive biopsy should clench a diagnosis even with negative antibodies. Some biopsies are deemed inconclusive when not enough glands are involved but the results in this case seem more absolute. Looking at past posts, you’ve had some nerve troubles too which is common in Sjogrens.

I hope you get an answers soon. Please keep us posted.

Thank you Jm your reply has made me feel a bit better. When I received the letter yesterday re salivary glands I assumed the outcome for my full diagnoses was not sjorgrens. You have gave me hope. I see my Rheumy on Thursday hopefully I'll be put on the correct medication and have less fatigue. Thanks again.
