Hi all ,For those who uses La Roche Posay SPF50+ has anyone used the Family version SPF 50+ it is a 300ml trigger bottle or the Body lotion moisture 250mls SPF 50+ both appears to be new on the market. As I have not seen it before. Just wondering if anyone has used it recently and what their thoughts on it. 🤔

Hello, I don’t know if it’s a new formula but I’d used the family size bottle in previous years the 50+ protection and also previously before UCTD, the lower factor and I think it’s really good personally. (son used to do allergic reactions to other creams so I had to try different brands for him). Also my dermatologist as well as paediatric dermatologist recommended this brand coincidentally. I couldn’t tell you the difference though between the different bottles, we’ve used the cream. Shame it’s so expensive though.

hi, I haven’t tried it, I have stuck with Nivea kids as it’s not greasy and does a great job, I recently heard about Altruist, recommended by the site for photosensitivity ( can’t remember the name, but it’s linked to this site) .

Altruist.com google it, loads of products and pack sizes, great prices. I’ve ordered myself some.

Thanks for the Altruist recommendation. Looks great. Just wondered if you happened to try the face fluid and if so, whether it was quite light? I have an aversion to heavy creams in my face...

La Roche Posay face cream are really light and they are not sticky on your skin .

Thanks😊 This is what I usually use but I'm also open to trying alternatives if they are similar.

Tried all of them not a patch to LaRoche Posay they all burn my face and they are super oily and sticky. Awful stuff.

I’ll let you know, it should be here by the weekend, I don’t like thick creams either, I want something that I can’t feel once it’s on :)

I use the Aldi 50+ or Lidl 50+, both excellent and much cheaper too x

I have tried Aldi's it still before burns my skin really badly. Feel the heat scorching through it.
