Cholesterol

Have to lower my cholesterol which is above 5 at present. Have a family history as well. On Alvaston 80mg at present. Any suggestions...

Hi there,

I dont have a personal experience with cholesterol but my dads family all have heart issues and were told one of the best ways to keep it down was being mindful of the amount of meat and dairy you have in your diet. I know yours is family run too but it might be something worth looking into, I have been a vegetarian for a long time now and haven't had any issues like my dad/grandfather my bloods always (for this anyways) always come back good.

Yeah my grandad lived in Spain and that helped him after his third heart attack, best of luck!
