Hi Brook, sorry to shorten your user name here. I am very shaky all over, so I will post again later some details for everyone. Thank you and all for asking, I return tomorrow to the hospital again for more specialist visits, and first, labs to do. They cannot seem to get my blood pressure to stabilize, and have me home monitoring it every two hours. So many symptoms, just don't know where to start. The Dr office calls me to check on BP and symptoms. I showed RBC in my urine testings, and ultrasound. Which the very good specialist pointed could be miss diagnosed as just a UTI, so he wants further testing. Cant say enough about him, great one. The reason I am sent home, is there is a nasty out brake of Flue here, and they do not have a privet bed open for me yet. So I wait. ......... I am so grateful to you all for your caring support. Keep u[p the good deeds and please know how much I appreciate you all here. More later if I am not so week. Keep striving to become a more perfect union here, I hope you are well, and comfy, My prayers, peace and blessings to you Brook and everyone.Xxxxx thestorm

First off, call me Brook anytime. 😉

Secondly, I wouldn’t have known about what you are going through if it weren’t for Spotty. She really cares about you and has had great concern over this for many days. Don’t get me wrong, we all love you! We all care!! But Spotty has had this on her mind long before your appt Monday and has been worried. She’s a true friend. She’s who I found out about what you are going through from.

Thirdly, from your comments, it doesn’t sound as if you are completely out of the woods yet. Our prayers will continue for you. I am sorry this isn’t over. Shaky doesn’t sound good. But just remember ‘you are The Storm!’ You will get through this and be fierce!!

Brook is right, you are the Storm and you’ll get through this. 💨 Just remember we are all behind you and praying for you🙏🏻🙏🏻, but it sounds like you have a very good specialist so you are in good hands. You rest up until tomorrow and only when you feel up to it keep us posted with how it goes. Love and hugs, 🤗😘 Spotty 💕

Hi spotty and Brook, LOL, and all here. I am going to try to ask you all a question, sorry typing is hard now,. The Cardiologist took good time looking over my hands and calves, and feet. He pointed out right away the raynaud's flaring badly. He asked how long this was going on, and how long had I been taking Lisinopril for blood pressure along with amlodipine. I told him for many months 6-9. He then said that these medications can cause higher flare-ups in autoimmune related patients. Has anyone ever heard of this, or experienced it? He also said that some BP medications can up the chances of seizures in compromised patients, as he saw me shaking without control. For this reason he placed me on Procardia, as it helps to calm Raynaud's, while trying to stabilize blood pressure. Do you all know of this, or have any idea? Just putting it on the table, as my mind is not my own. Pass the word if you can. I so much welcome any of your input. Lovingly, and fondly, thestormXxxx

Hi Storm - I certainly don’t know this area with any depth. But it sounds like the cardiologist is switching the type of blood pressure medication you are on. They work differently - ace inhibitors, beta blockers, diuretics. I do remember being asked about Raynaud’s before being put on a beta blocker. So I guess some make Raynaud’s worse but the one he chose will both lower your blood pressure and help your Raynaud’s, maybe by relaxing the blood vessels.

Hope that helps. And hope you feel better.

Kx

Thank you and bless you Spotty for sharing my plight with fellow friend hubies here. As Brook said, because of you she knows. You are such a sweet truly blessed being. What comforts to know there are people out there who want to put themselves aside for greater goods. I wanted you to know how much you, and everyone mean to me. I will fight the good fight, and I will remember all who the good Lord pointed me to, with open helping hands and hearts, nothing could be asked for better....Helping others on there journey is Gods way of sending angels by your side. I send all my angels to help you and everyone on there paths, to be tried and true> Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Lovingly, thestormXxx

Amen and well put Storm.

I am sorry I can’t make any contribution to you recent question regarding medications, etc. I have no knowledge. But, it sounds like the doctor understands the interactions and will get you all straightened out! I’m praying he does! 🙏 I’m heading to bed now, but will definitely be praying in your be half. Here’s hoping that once the meds combo is out of your system, and this doctor has you on the right course of meds, you’ll be right as rain.

We love you Stormy! You need to change your name to Sunshine, because you make our lives brighter😊 (except for the fact that we all are allergic to the sun...🤔soooo scratch that. You are the Storm because you are strong and mighty!)

Ok Sunshine! You seem in great spirits (though I think it’s late enough where you are that sun who should be down and put to bed for the night? 😆) But soooo very glad to hear that you seem so happy! Please update us (after your appt tomorrow). I hope all is well and will continue to pray for you. 🙏

I am up, dear Brook, it is not quite 7pm by me, and we just returned from the hospital. I opened my emails here, and there you all are, You all are the reason why I smile. Yes Brook, I am in the eastern state of NY. You must be in the mid country?Small word is it not my hubie friend. I will post you all more tomorrow, as now I am so tired, and fatigued, doing my mindfulness tonight will have to wait, as medications and BP's with a specialist call are my night. But, it is very sweet to know that you are never far away, as all is well for this evening in "Whoo-vill". Have a great night, and many namasta's and my prayers to you and everyone here. Be blessed Brook. fondly, thestormy SunshineXxx

Thank you so much theStorm. I feel quite emotional having read your kind words. 🥰 I don’t feel I’m doing anything more that any good friend would do and there are some lovely and genuine friends on here like Brook and all who have answered your post. And I join Brook now in praying for you and wishing for the best result with your changed medication.🙏🏻🙏🏻

Although I suffer Raynaud’s I’ve never been put on medication specifically for it but I didn’t get on well with a Beta blocker I had to take and was taken off again - maybe that’s why. 🤷‍♀️ I did read somewhere that Coronary Artery Spasms (which I’m prone to) are linked with Raynaud’s and I carry a quick-acting form of Verapamil with me, as well as my GTN spray for angina, in case an attack starts. That’s all I can offer medically, but I offer my love and sincere wishes for a speedy recovery and pray all goes well at your next hospital appointment. 🙏🏻😘

Hugs to you and your lovely Storm.🤗🤗

Give him a big cuddle from me. 🤗😘 Spottyxx💕

Gratitude to you Spotty!! Feeling cared for here makes my heart smile. You are a special one, and so are many friends here. I appreciate the information, no matter how small, it opens doors to asking questions to those in charge of our health, that we may not have even thought of. You are "Spot On"! And that's good medicine, for all of us here. If I may, I would like to message someone on my ongoing experiences with these health symptoms, if I may. Until then, be well, be happy, be Spotty blessed! Fondly, thestormy Sunshine, (as Sweet Brook posted.:)

Stormy Sunshine, how are you today??

Hi,Brook, Thank you for asking... Here I am reading again, and there you are, so joyful to see.. I was just admiring Stiff's so beautiful, and creative creatures she hand made, they are awesome have you seen the post?.Because of the great weather, I am home.Bracing for what may come, and just living in this moment. Cardiologist increased my BP medications and boy, do they pack a punch. I feel like a yo-yo. Trying to define my comfort and self acceptances here. Friday doesn't look much better for traveling to the hospital, as weather conditions are slippery sliding. How is it by you, and how are you.

in reply tothestorm

Storm, can’t say the weather is bad at all. We had 84* last Saturday. Today was the mid60’s. Sunshine, blue skies. Nice now, but the summers where I live feel like the dessert for about 6 weeks. Maybe I should come visit you then, and you here for winter? 😉 But you honestly sound so much better than you did Monday/Tuesday. I think this doctor just might be on to something. I’m sorry the BP pills are making you feel funny. Hopefully your body will adjust. My husband is also on BP meds. His father, his brother, and his sister all have high BP and are on meds. Last year both his father and brother had heart attacks within weeks (months?) of each other. Please be careful. His brother actually died at the gym but a young nursing student there working out brought him back with paddles the gym smartly had, and Kirk is doing great! But do be careful with yourself, we need your stormy sunshine! 🌞

Take care of your fierce self!! 🙏
