I would like to take this opportunity to thank u all for your support last year..bug hugs all round!! In actual fact let's just have ONE GREAT BIG GROUP CYBER HUG RIGHT NOW!! 🤗💜🤗💜🤗💜🤗💜Feel the love people..feel the love we all share for each other!! Oh yeah..feels good to me!! 😻😻😻😻

As far as my own journey is concerned..I took my fourth dose of mtx yesterday..n despite it being a bit tricky in the initial stages..I'm now feeling over the worst (for now)!! Had a flare (as expected) but I'm now really pleased with how it's going!! I've had no stomach issues so I can take them orally..n I'm having bloods done every two weeks which is a bit of a pain but hey..all in all..all is well in my world right now!! So I just wanted to share my news with u all because you're all fabulous!! 🤗💜🤗💜🤗💜🤗

Pic is of my left hand during recent flare..when this happens I am pretty useless..with me it seems to be more on left side although right side often joins the party!! 😔But hey right now..today..in this moment 🥊 things r good!!

Yes at times like these I find it practically impossible to stay in touch with u all..can't even lift my phone let alone type!! Happy to say now though that things have improved!!

Doaty..u never whine!! 😻This is my hand in full flare n thankfully the worst is over (for now)..skin is everything with my particular form of lupus n boy do I know it!! Soles of my feet r the same when the 🐺is attacking!! But today is a good day n u lot help me through the bad times..thank u 🤗

In answer to your question..yes I see a dermy n my GP is great!! I have all the lotions n potions because my skin is most affected by lupus!! I have betnovate n dermovate ointment which as u know r two different strengths..n I have fludroxycortide surgical tape to wrap around my fingers when they're probing difficult to heal..or cracking n splitting!! I use Dermol 500 lotion all the time n I have to keep dressing my feet coz the soles r pretty much the same as my palms!! When I flare I'm pretty much crippled!! 😔😔

However I'm very relieved n happy to be posting here again..I miss u all when I can't participate!!

Last year I was fortunate enough to invest in a lupus handbook..u may of heard of it..it's called How To Stay Sane In Pain?!?! Believe me that book has been priceless to me!! So u especially r with me during the tough times..right here in my living room!! 😉😉
