Does anyone else have muscle pain - I don't currently have any joint pain but my arm muscles feel weak and sore as if I have over exercised them. They've been like this for a couple of months and sometimes it is painful to even lift a glass of water to my mouth. I also have muscular back pain which is making walking any distance a problem.

Arm muscle pain
Yes I get muscle pain and weakness and i do get joint pain. Sometimes i walk with a limp, walking/standing for too long hurts my feet and back and walking up stairs is always difficult. My rhuem dr put it all down to my fibromyalgia...not sure what to make of it but maybe bring it up in your next appointment? The way i try to manage the pain is stretching and excitement which helps but i only do as much as i can take even if it’s just 5mins. I also take wild lettuce extract which was initially for my Raynaud’s but found out it’s also a natural painkiller and it has helped also. Hope this helps x
Hi, yes I get muscle and tendon pain in my legs, arms, shoulders and hands. The Rheumatologists have put it down to Fibromyalgia but my Chiropractor thinks that it has been caused my posture and balance issues as a consequence of poor balance and joint pain. He uses adjustment, accupunctiure and massage to ease the taut painful muscles and I do stretching exercises with the stretchy bands that has helped my arms. I was struggling to walk at all when I went to him two years ago. My knee was dislocating on my right leg and my left patella is cracked so I need a double total knee replacement but never seem well enough. I had not expected such amazing results but it works for me so I go every two weeks now. I hope you find something that works for you. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
I've also developed muscle pain. This new painful system moves to different parts of my body, like left upper arm, my chest, and legs. My dermatologist told me I've gone from having cutaneous lupus to systemic. Have to take more meds and go see new specialists. Not fun. I literally feel your pain, too!
Thanks for all your replies. I'm seeing the rheumy at the end of February so will discuss it with him then.
