Due to the epidemic of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), The Wellcome Trust Conference Centre has decided to temporarily close to reduce the spread of infection. Unfortunately that means this event will not take place on 21st March 2020. We hope to reschedule for a future date once the epidemic has cleared. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. All delegates will be informed by email or telephone.
On 21st March 2020 Cambridgeshire Lupus Group will be hosting the Shelagh Cheesman Memorial Lupus Information Day at The Wellcome Trust Conference Centre, Hinxton, Cambridge CB10 1RQ.
It was with great sadness that after a battle with cancer Shelagh Cheesman passed away in March 2018. Shelagh was a much loved, admired, inspirational person who touched a great many lives. She was a key Cambridgeshire Lupus Group Committee member fighting for and helping everyone with their battle against lupus while battling it herself.
Registration for the information day starts from 12.30pm, with the event itself starting at 1.20pm. We will have a number of expert speakers including;
Dr Frances Hall (Consultant Rheumatologist)
Dr Andrew Bateman (Cambridge Neuroscience)
Dr Natasha Jordan (Consultant Rheumatologist)
Jane Hollis (Lupus Specialist Nurse)
Dr Sara Booth (Consultant Physician (Retired))
Paul Howard (Deputy CEO, LUPUS UK)
