Tribunal may query my pip form saying no to access my records.

Hi,

My pip Tribunal is next week. In my MR letter to me they flagged up that I had refused them to see my past DLA medical letters. I remember being made to tick that box by the CAB lady who helped me fill in the form and adding 8 new docs letters. Any idea why she made me tick that box refusing them access to my previous medical letters? I want to have an answer if they ask me at the tribunal. I can’t get hold of the cab lady.

Is there a Welfare Rights Office in your local council? I’ve personally found them invaluable, and they may be able to give you quick advice.

I’m not qualified to give you the correct advice, but I have my Tribunal next month. If I were you I’d take copies of everything relevant and pass them to the Clerk of the Court to add to the evidence. I doubt it would harm, and could demonstrate the misunderstanding.
