So ive mentioned alot of natural things i highly recommend usimg onion on your scalp if your having a problem with it growing trust me i have dont so and yes 2 inches in a month. It has to be directly applied with the onion on the scalp. 2. For rash and irritation such as itching, crawling try using raw garlic and rae onion on your skin and dont stop at just the area do the entire body. If at all possible take an essential bath using Rosemary, Clove, Cinnamon, coconut oil, ginger. Euclaptes and bergamont. Yes all in The same tub and time soak 20 minutes. Use lotions like nivea body and in showet lotion. After you get out use Dr. teal lotion with euclaptyes a s ROSEMARY or nivea body lotion just add a tad of the esstional oils to helo fight this rash. If i would of put before and after picture you would see how amazing i habe got my skin feeling hell of alot better. Its not a permanent cure but it helps and when i get the full cure which i will one day since doctors seem to think its a dam joke well all be free of tjis pesty worm and bug. By the eay the worm is transparent travels in The blood so all you researchers try looking for that and use natural stuff and stip tryong to kill us faster with these medications. Someone please let me know if it worked for you its not.gonna happen ocer night but read how youthful you will look after using garlic and onion

Thanks Lilrosie - I am all for natural remedies! I am going to try the onion on my bald patches. Avocado is expensive but helps my skin. I use Olbas Oil for joint pain.

Hi Lilrosie1 ,

Thank you for sharing techniques and therapies that have helped you to manage your symptoms. I am pleased to hear that these help to give you some relief.

I would encourage anyone else thinking of trying techniques like this to discuss it with their doctor first. This way they can be advised of any potential adverse effects/reactions or interactions with medications they may have already. Lupus varies a lot in presentation and so what works for one person could be harmful for someone else.

I'm sorry that you have had a negative experience with your doctors, but I think it is unfair to tar them all with the same brush. There are many excellent doctors who care a great deal. The medications prescribed by doctors go through very rigorous trials to prove they are safe and effective. They can present with side effects, but that is also true of complementary therapies. For many people these medications can significantly improve quality of life and even save lives, so it is not appropriate to recommend people not to take them.
