Pain in neck and base of skull

Hello everyone, I have had Lupus and Underactive Thyroid for over 10 years, fully medicated on methotrexate and pleqenil etc and so am now used to the ever-changing symptoms and general aches and pains, but for the past 4 months I have had a significant pain in the left hand side of my neck and arm. It never disappears but is sometime more painful than others. I am due an MRI scan and am having physio but this is driving me mad. I am having awful nights sleep and it is now starting to make me feel really unwell as its gone on for so long. Has anyone else experienced this with their Lupus or have I just got 'another' thing to try and manage - just more painkillers aghhhh ..............

Hi I have had it still have it the last thing I need is phsyo you may have something completely differant from me but you need to have mri and take it easy till you get it ,

Yes I have me and a cervical spinal stenosis not saying you have this but keep an open mind take care

Hi Jem sorry u r experiencing this I have sle fibromyalgia I have had pain n pulling senstions on the left side of my head and the back of the neck too , I also have it on the lower back only on the left side

I have had mri’s done scans X-rays etc been to Neurolgist and ent Drs

M on methroxate and plaquenil

I use heat packs massage etc the Drs keep saying it’s the lupus n fibromaglia or muscle spasms

I take as it comes
