World lupus day ?

Hey ,

I know it’s on the 10th May world lupus day. I was wondering if anyone does anything for it to share awareness . I’m hoping to get at least 5 people from work to where purple on that day , and give some leaflets in the staff room !

Thanks . I just think there is many of us with lupus , and not enough people know about it ! If I can teach one person something about lupus I’ll be happy 🙂

I would like to speak for the minority of males who have lupus.

This is a link to the Lupus Uk website that sells t shirts . I am not sure where you are from though ? If not you can google lupus t shirts and there are all different designs that have been created !

I was privileged to be in London last week when the Medical Research Fund provided Funding of £200,000 to support research into Lupus in Edinburgh, Leeds and Manchester. Best wishes Kevin

You could probably google and find some on places like amazon . You could probably find some in most shops !

Well done Lou! Brilliant idea. Any way we can raise awareness and get people to discuss it with us, the better. I used to bake a couple of cakes and leave them in the staff room table for break time, along with the Lupus UK raffle tickets / anyone who bought a raffle ticket could have a piece of cake. X
