This is beautiful

Please take a look at the picture attached, I received this message from my 13 year old son last night.

So beautiful.

Harry popped in to see me before school this morning, made me a cup of tea & put a cold flannel on my head.

He apologised for given me the flu & said your worth catching a cold over!

When you feel at worst and everything is getting you down, one text from your child and it’s like magic! Everything melts away.

The most expensive Jewels a woman could ever wear round her neck are the arms of her children xxxx

Ahhhh, we are blessed, really nice to share with us. I get joy on a regular basis from my college daughter, who is growing quickly and is away studying in a big city & really enjoying herself... So pleased for her, it a great time to enjoy life & be independent.... So lucky to have young people who can open up & can make our challenging lives a little better. 😇. ML

Hey MaggieLee,

That was beautifully written, & thank you truly for taking the time to reply

We are blessed, it’s the little things that have a big impact.

Your daughter is very lucky, Id love to be like her. Hopefully One day i will be well enough to go to uni & graduate! I’m so happy to hear she is enjoying life, you only have one shot at it & it sounds like she’s making the best of it. That brings me joy too. What subject is studying ? College opens up a world of opportunities & I’m sure she will do you proud. It’s nice knowing you have a close connection with her, there’s nothing more precious than a mother’s love. No matter how old we get or how independent we become amongst it all we will always need our mothers. & that’s a gift in with itself.

My sons words hit the core of me & will be forever cherished.

Thank you for getting in touch, I hope you & your daughter have a wonderful Christmas where ever in the world you may be.

X

Thanks for your kind words. My daughter is so happy & grateful to be studying at an art college she has seen since she was little. She is studying art with a focus on animation & film, so she can go onto animation as her major. So she is enjoying the many museums & exhibition and learning to be independent & lucky for me responsible.

Looking forward to seeing her for x-mas. Enjoy yours with family. 🎅
