Here in Alabama in the U.S.A. We are in for some colder weather. It went form 70 something degrees Fahrenheit yesterday to 33 degrees this morning and is supposed to be in the low 20's by the end of the week. We even have snow in our weather forecast (we have not had snow here in several years!)
I can feel the change coming, every joint in my body is literally aching, hurts to move, and head is pounding like there is a little guy or girl beating the inside of my head.
Oh, and if that is not enough, our electric in our area even 5 miles away is off. It went off about an hour ago. I have to open the doors on the fireplace if the power goes off, with out the blower it will not keep the controls And Eletronics cool. So I'm drinking a cup of coffee by the fireplace!

Thank you I will look into the UGGA BOOTS/shoes. As of now we have found nothing. The skin on my feet especially my right foot, is so thin and tender any thing will damage it. Even if I scratch it even lightly with a finger nail, I will start bleeding, and a light scratch bleed like it is cut half way through my foot! I had a pair of the soft fuzzy house shoes, wore them one time for less than 10 minutes. We had to throw them away, soaked in blood, just a small place, plus they rubbed blisters in other place on my foot!
I don't know what to do? Everything we have tried (and we have tried a lot in the last 3 years) we have found nothing yet. Even socks will rub! As of now we are about out of options, and we have pretty much settled that I will just have to be barefoot? Honestly, I have gotten use to being barefoot, it just seems natural. I don't even think about putting shoes on now! I do occasionally wear some little barefoot sandals that Laura made, at lest if we go somewhere new that doesn't know us and my health issues, at firs glance it looks like I'm wearing sandals. At least they don't rub and cause any issues?
As I said in the post we are expecting some of the coldest weather here this weekend than we have had in the last several years. We very seldom get snow here, now they have snow in the forecast for tomorrow!?
With your situation, I couldn't guarantee UGGs..BUT the inside is sheepskin...and I know that patients with bed ulcers do better with sheepskin under them...But hard to keep feet from rubbing...
