Can anyone tell me what the anti dsna ranges are I can't get my head round blood tests im positive ANA and my rheumatologist is sending me conective tissue specialist for second opinion but im not sure what for .. What blood test show you could have lupus ?

Hello miacats,

Test results can be very confusing. According to the Mayo Clinics website, typical values for dsDNA antibodies would be:

<30.0 IU/mL (negative)

30.0-75.0 IU/mL (borderline)

>75.0 IU/mL (positive)

However, it is important to appreciate that different testing facilities may use slightly different techniques and so these figures may not apply for everyone - you need to have your test interpreted by your specialist to understand the significance of your individual result.
