Newly diagnosed

Hi, my name is Gabriella and i am 38 years old. Today my consultant has called me regarding my blood test. She told me that everything was negative apart from esr level which is very high and low folic acid. But because of my symptoms and the way I feel she's going to treat me as I have lupus and hopefully It should help.

Has this ever happened to you? I feel worried and happy at the same time. I am like to have a friend who has lupus like me who has been so helpful and supportive as all this is very scary and confusing.

  • Hello Tulipano,

I think lots of people here will know that horrible feeling of anxiety when you know something is wrong, but it isn't quite clear what. I hope you will stay in touch and gain some reassurance from feeling part of a big group of friends! x
