oh thank you for your response...you are only the third person I have ever met to say the same. I am sorry to hear that you struggle with it too. I feel like I am running low grade with spikes of high temp all the time til I have a superflare which i am in right now then it feels like 104° to 105°all the time! I know it has to be coming from inflammation so i was curious how many people on here with lupus might experience it too? Thank you for letting me know. How long did you feel low grade feverish before you got the lupus diagnosis? thank you for sharing with me...

The fever thing is horrible. I get it a lot. It happens at random times, and to touch my skin I feel normal, but I feel like I'm burning up. Sorry that you have this too.

Yes. That is me. I must keep my house temp 17-18C because I am always too hot. It's the inflammation. NSAIDS help a bit. When I'm on systemic steroids, I get. SO. COLD.

oh thank you for letting me know! I knew it had to be the inflammation and after the responses i have gotten i realize it is part of all this autoimmune battle!!! I literally walk around the house in a sports bra and shorts all the time!!! sometimes i have to resort to ice packs!!!

Yes. I had the same. It seems to be much better with the Plaquenil.

wow okay thank you for your response! qi may need to talk to my dr about that then bc feeling like this all the time is just miserable!!! Have you done pretty well on the plaquenil? It can cause some serious side effects from what i read but it seems to really be helping a lot of people on this site...

Yes. Before Plaquenil and Gabapentin (for nerve stuff) I was "flu-like" at least once per week for a couple of days. I pretty much don't have that at all anymore. I can be more "tired" on some days, but nothing like it was previously.

I haven't noticed any bad symptoms from the Plaquenil. Just other symptoms going away. I have so many symptoms as it is.. I don't think I'd notice a few more tacked on top!

Yes, I get this too, feeling like I have a fever, all shivery and flu like, but my temperature will be normal. It must be something to do with inflammation as antiinflammatories ease the shivers. I also get night sweats, but it didn't occur to me until reading these replies that they might be connected to Lupus!

Yes! the very first symptom I get is the chills or perhaps what you are referring to as the shivers...I read that the chills are actually a from of pain so that is where I start and when it starts happening I know I am going into a flare! I feel like I have the flu during my flares with some joint pain.
