Cold
Hi, yes me too and it was/is a real humdinger. My chest feels like it has a ton weight on it and I don't know what to say about my nose that would be printable. I guess we are particularly vulnerable. Hope you feel better soon.

Sorry your dealing with this..persistent colds are mega nasty...I sure do know this.
Have you seen your gp to check whether you've got a secondary infection to this cold? Antibiotics could be in order if you do
Has your gp checked your FBC, especially WBC + lymphocytes + neutrophils?
hope you're waving goodbye to this cold very soon

Yes, I have had colds which have lasted for months. Also, I have had pneumonia from August to February. I suffer from many different health issues and this is just one of them. It's a horrible feeling. I have allergies on top of it which is miserable. I am using a nasal spray at the moment so I can try to breathe through my nose.
I agree with Barnclown...I'm on my second round of antibiotics, this time levofloxacin. It's working n I'm on my 3rd day of 7... I have pulmonary fibrosis, cough is lessened and sinuses are responding 👍 Hope n pray😷
When I had pneumonia, my consultant told me to leave off methotrexate until recovered as this drug reduces your immune system even more, so suggest if you use this drug, to leave it alone for a bit x
YEAH, NOT HALF! I wasn't surprised when it first came just before Xmas (happens every year), then I had a fall in a bus, bruising my lowest right rib and of course the kidney under it then the cold turned into a deep cough, which puts a painful stress on the bruised area. My GP says it will take at least 6 wks to get better . . . . .at this rate I'll still have that darned cold to keep it company!! and by dose won't stop running when I sneeze either! Best of luck
