hi everyone, I diagnosed with lupus around 20 years and a few years ago I applied for DLA and they entitled me to lower rate mobility and component care but my conditions get more worst , anybody can help me how do I can apply for higher rate DLA and also for carer help.

My advice would be to contact Citizens Advice who would advise and help you fill in the forms. When does your award come up for renewal?. This is when you are asked to apply for PIP, DLA's replacement and is the time to give them how your illness has changed!. Hope that's helpful. X
All you can do is ring up and talk to them, if you are still on DLA, you will have to apply for PIP. Most important get some specialists advice on how to complete the form either on line or from CAB
