Dwp Wirral called me in and for 3 hours 2 men harnessed me . Looked at bank account etc . Eventhough they knew I was victim of domestic violence and rape ... used 20 year old pics supplied by ex as they also got complaint from him... knew was him when he said her boyfriend ... never had one but he tried this at divorce proceedings too. He is the ex cop that batteted raped me whilst he made false allegation he tripped on pavement so he could leave work aged 42 get full police pension and 50k compo . Wirral council told this lots of times. Refuses to investigate as he ex cop. But instead chooses to blame me being his ex wife. At time he was 26 stone and was on charges for misuse of police pnc . He got away with the lot no investigations at all. Not even for sexual assault reported by his own kids...Merseyside police are lying corrupt scumbag protecting scumcops like my ex who still harassing me after divorce.Wirral council same. I'm seriously ill yet they refuse me help even council tax reduction but still give this scumbag all he asks for.  Even tho he falsely claimed against them ......... he didn't fall he used a pen too make skin look marked . No injuries yet they paid him gift thousand compo for he was merpol cop .....

You will see him walkin miles daily with his two dogs that he allows to foul the local park and he pretends to pick it up he pushes it in grass to avoid picking up... wallasey. He has 2 dogs used park at 1030 am and 1430 am daily or the prom. 2 small white dogs. He is scum

Hi kata

So sorry to read all you've been thru and your struggles now. You can work and be on DLA. The benefit is paid as to how your illness affects your daily life!. May I suggest you get the help of Citizens Advice who can speak to the DWP on your behalf and sort it out for you. Good luck X

HI Kata12345678,

As misty14 has said, you can still claim DLA even if you work and it is not a means-tested benefit. If you were also claiming ESA then you would not be able to work more than 16 hours a week and continue to receive the payments.

I'd also recommend that you make an appointment at your local Citizen's Advice Bureau for assistance with this.

You can work any number of hours and still receive DLA/PIP. But you can only work a certain number of hours if getting ESA or Incapacity.

Someone has either got their facts wrong or being a little conserbative with the truth.
