If you are over 50 SAGA Insurance 0800 096 1066, are great, they will cover lots of conditions others will not and at a reasonable price.

Thanks. Age 46 at the moment. Can't believe how expensive the quotes are. What a rip off.

Oh I know it's unbelievable! And you can be sure no matter how much you pay if you needed to claim they would find a way out of paying up!! Good luck

Cover wise are quite competitive. Freedom and all clear are also quite good to cover medical conditions.

Hi, do you have a bank account that offers travel insurance ? I have a Barclays account that comes with travel insurance and they have accepted my lupus and APS fully covered (I have one of the older additions accounts though). It's only a small fee per month and I think you can cancel it when you want.

I think he insurance is underwritten by Aviva 😀

I just took out a single trip cover with holidayinsurance.com £21.76 for hubby and me! That's with my Lupus AND APR declared! I was dreading the price, but very happy with that :-)

Halifax nationwide and the AA. Nationwide covered me annually for a year and I have quite a few conditions.

I found insure and go to be the best for a years cover for cruising. Can't remember the numbers now (brain fog) but might be worth giving them a try.

We have a page on our website with a list of contact details for insurance companies who deal with people with medical conditions. You can find that here: lupusuk.org.uk/travel-insur...

I have just got a quote from Age UK . . . and you don't have to be a 'certain age' to use them either! I'm 49 and it included 2 children. With my entire list of ailments (SLE, APS & Sjogrens) it came to just over £40 for the whole family to Spain for a week.
