Hi barbdockeray, yes I get all those, very tired and tongue is always very sore due to inflamed oesphagus, so I get gastric reflux too. I don't have a cold though but my legs seize up every time I sit down and now my fingers won't curl as they are too inflamed. I hope you feel better soon! MCTD varies in many people, have you seen a rheumatologist? Take care 😊

Hi there. I know how you feel. Just stay strong. I was off last month and this month from work. My feet are better since doctor put me on blood pressure tablets. The tiredness doesn't seem to go away despite all the extra vitamins and supplements that the doctor has me on. Good news is that I have at least 2 good days in week. Kind Regards

Hi, I have had the same symptoms but I do have asthma too. They found I had oral thrush and once treated my mouth and tongue were so much better. Sometimes it's all the little things added together that can get you down. It's easy to put everything down to Lupus and not see a doctor for those minor irritants but sometimes it is something that can be fixed. Hope things improve for you soon. Xx

I can sympathise with the tight chest Barb...sometimes it wakes me in the night, a right old pain in the backside. I'm asthmatic and tend to blame that but its a nuisance and used to frighten me to death till they found out what the problem was. I have sprays now and they've helped loads

Get a sore tongue occasionally as I have sjogrens although its not as bad as it was since they gave me some treatment for it and I can keep the ulcers under control a lot more

Fatigue is common with Lupus, it comes and goes and I make the most of the days when energy levels are up

I used to get flu every year and was quite poorly with it...they diagnosed SLE in 2005 and since taking hydroxy I rarely get it any more, plus I dont get out much to pick anything up...docs advice? stay away from the hospitals....lol

Hope you feel better xx
