Hi Guys. I have been diagnosed today with SLE after discovering DVT in my right leg last week. In five weeks time (30th April) I'm due to begin a 5 month sabbatical from work in order to go traveling in Canada, USA, SE Asia, China and Japan.
I am being discharged today on Clexane injections until next week when I will have two urgent outpatient appointments with Rheumatology and Haematology to discuss long term medication/treatment. Can anyone suggest a good and reputable travel insurance company? Does anyone else have difficulty with travel. Fortunately, my current symptoms do not include any joint pain or fatigue, just the DVT.
Any advice welcome
