I get asked each time I go to my OPA but I have never mentioned this because it comes and goes really quickly. The longest I have had it has been 2 days. It usually starts at night and itchy. This one I didnt notice until I woke so I haven't scratched, that makes it a lot worse!
Does anyone recognize this type of rash, is it Lu... - LUPUS UK
Does anyone recognize this type of rash, is it Lupus related?
Hi have just been diagnosed with lupus...have had for years thougnt was prickly heat ..the rash you have is how mine starts...using steroid cream takes the itch away hope this helps x
I have this permanently on my chest. Whilst it does get itchy I think I must have got used to it.
I get the exact same thing on the back of my calves. It itches a little, but stings after I get out of shower. It comes and goes. I just put moisturizing cream on it thinking that its just dryness that is causing it, or something in my water that is irritating me. I haven't had in awhile. Dropped dairy out of my diet. I wondered if it was a reaction to what I was eating. Never found a connection.
get some cetraban from your GP it will stop this very soon, if its sore in the sun cover up
Hi, it seem like few years story, do you get recovered? Because i am suffering with it too. Hope to see your reply. Thanks.
Hi Michelle this looks very much like the rash I had when first diagnosed with cutaneous lupus/sjogren's syndrome. It didn't itch nor was it painful but it could get very red and angry looking. I had a skin biopsy which showed lupus. It disappeared after starting Hydroxychloroquin and I've had no skin problems since. Hope this helps.
