I have dry eyes, dry mouth and I have a purplish rash that is spreading Fast. Does anyone else have this rash?

Not sure if I can be a massive help but when you mention dry eyes and dry mouth that seems more connected with sjogrens syndrome as this condition consists of these symptoms as for the rash I have no idea as to what that could be. On the other hand don't take my word as I'm not a medical practitioner so hopefully you are striving for a diagnosis with the doctor as the rash seems quite daunting and serious hope you get the diagnosis ASAP

I have dry eyes and dry mouth among other things and have been diagnosed with Lupus/Sjogren's overlap. I developed a rash on my forehead, which my gastroenterologist (I go to him for autoimmune hepatitis) thought was linked to the drugs I am on, but it has recently got much worse and my rheumatologist thinks it is linked to lupus and has prescribed tacrolimus for 2 weeks, twice a day, which seems to be working now (although at first it made my skin prick horribly and drove me mad). Perhaps your GP will refer you to a dermatologist, or be able to diagnose it him/herself?

I have had a biopsy on two regions of the rash and a biopsy on the inside of my lower lip. So far I have no real answerl. I get so tired and achy and my mouth and eyes are so dry on waking I can hardly talk. Walking is getting harder and harder. Added to this, my husband has recently been diagnosed with psp.
