Trial of Oraxol?

Folks I was due to see if I could be in the Lung Matrix Trial, sadly with all the testing there not enough left, I'm due to have another biopsy soonish! In the meantime I've been suggested for a Trail at The Christie (Manchester,UK) for an oral form of Paclitaxel called Oraxol (KX-ORAX-012). Has anyone been on this trail? And if you don't mind how was it? Every Blessing Woody.

Dear ParchWoody

Hope you find someone on the forum who is on this trial and provide some details for you.

It is always good to read of new research being conducted and the possibility of taking an oral tablet instead of it being administered intravenously is encouraging.

Prior to the trial you will receive a patient information and consent form, this will provide all the information on the trial and what is involved for you. Do ask any questions of concern and be fully informed.

Our Freephone nurse led helpline number is 0800 358 7200, if you wish to discuss anything.

All the very best
