I had bilobectomey to remove stage3 a lung cancer. Surgery was a great success. All lung cancer removed. Surgery lasted 8.5 hours. Out of 17 samples removed, 16 dead. Did not regrow in dish. One the cancer source did. Grew to 2mm. Hence Plan on doing keytruda for a year.

I was diagnosed a lung adenocarcinoma, a RET positive fusion mutation in Januarya2024.Am told its a rare cancer. I would like to chat with anyone else here who may have this type of cancer and is being treated with Selpercatinib pills.

I had a CT scan last August and still have the letter saying No Lung cancer present however they are calling this nodule sinister. I am hoping that it is scarring from all the coughing I have been doing. So fingers crossed Mrs P

'cos he's already told you ;) I have lung cancer that has metastasised to my liver, just diagnosed last month. Had a bad cough in November (didn't everyone?) and a "just in case" x-ray showed a shadow that has turned out to be cancer.

It's been 14 years since I required infusion and now I've been diagnosed with a new lung cancer. I feel well prepared for this by the suggestions you've shared over the years. It's KRAS G12F and I'm doing carboplatin, Alimta , and Keytruda.

The primary cancer has been eradicated, however 3 enlarged lymph nodes have now been found on the scan. This could be due to a cheat infection or it could be cancer. The scan is now being reviewed by a panel of experts. Anyone have any advice on this?

He eventually came home after 13 days, stayed with me for 4 days and then ended up back in hospital because of breathlessness and they found he had a blood clot in his lung, another infection and now mucus. It definitely is lung cancer but it's already spreading so stage 4.

I have incurable lung cancer and currently undergoing immunotherapy treatment. Am due a ct staging scan on Monday and see the consultant in about 3 weeks. If the consultant says they are stopping the immunotherapy, what alternative treatments could be offered?

A lobectomy was planned during surgery, removal of lower right lung lobe, but the surgeon stopped mid-surgery when he received the pathology. Thanks be to God, neither was lung cancer and, in fact, both were metastatic prostate cancer.
