Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear about your Dad's aching knees and legs. Although it may not be on the list of side effects, I take it you have discussed this with the chemotherapy team/nurse, if not do call them and let them know.

Everyone can react differently to chemotherapy and this may be how your Dad is responding, however any new symptom is always best being discussed with the care team.

I have placed a link below from cancer research UK on the chemotherapy that your Dad is on:

If you wish to discuss anything you can call us on our free nurse led helpline number on 0800 358 7200

All the best

Hello. Is your dad on immune boosting injections? Mine was after each chemo ( same regime) and this was the suspected cause of his aching bones. Sending best wishes x

Thank you for this - he has had these injections so I will pass this on to him!

Best Wishes to you...

While I’ve not heard of anyone complaining of legs only, like keepinghope2017, I do hear of people complaining of aches after Chemo and immune boosting medicating. Some doctors and patient groups recommend taking a loratadine 10mg tablet the day before chemo, the day of and the day after to mitigate that pain.

Here in the states that’s an over the counter allergy medication which can be purchased as a generic or under the trade name claritin. Best hopes for a great outcome of those treatments.
