worried about travel

have to take an 8 hour flight and be gone for a week. I don’t have access to a washer and dryer, I wash and dry my thigh high everyday, I would need to buy 8 of them a few weeks before leaving, anyone have any tips on alternative plan?

Thanks!

Where are you going - somewhere exciting?

Do you have 3 garments on hand - or 2 - so you can alternate use. They actually don’t need washing every single day (unless you work on a farm) and should not go in a tumble dryer. If needed, wash at night with a hand soap, wring out in a towel and air dry over a shower rail (if there is one).

When I am away I wear my garments for 2 days. I take some older ones with me as well. I hand-wash in the sink. Roll in a towel to help drying and hang over the shower rail - often leaving the bathroom extractor on. My toe caps won't stay over the shower rail so I leave them on a towel on a table in the main room. I did this last year for 9 days in Japan, including travelling around. I only wore my travel garments once (before washing, v v long journeys) and planned out exactly when to wash and when to wear each pair (well I wear 4 garments at a time (2 legs and 2 feet).
