Hand and forearm Lymphoedema

Hi everyone. I’m a newbie for arm Lymphoedema. Had nodes removed 17 yrs ago but all of a sudden hand was swollen. Had ultrasound where they said tenosynovitus but breast specialist send me to Lymphoedema clinic where they confirmed Lymphoedema. Doing massage at moment

It can happen - even years after the treatment. One day, the lymphatics can suddenly become overwhelmed and then lymphoedema can occur. Were you unwell at the time it occurred?

Other than MLD, is the clinic providing compression garments?

No I was fine.. haven’t been unwell at all... yes they are fitting me for a glove/arm compression
