I find going to any doctor very stressful and anxiety provoking. Most doctors do not understand how anxious some of us get just for waiting in their offices. They look at the patient in front of them at that moment and make a quick judgement call. It sometimes takes me years to get the doctors to understand that I will likely have higher BP for white coat and will likely be a bit nervous. I had a major health issue last year and actually handled it better then I expected. I thought after being in front of doctors so often would put this type of reaction aside, but not at all. If anything, its worse. I dread going to see my primary care of my cardio. They know it, but I do it anyway. Anyone else have any advice or suggestions on working through this situation?
