Need advice

Hey. Hope someone sees this. I’ve been taking lexapro 20mg for a good 7 years now and took Wellbutrin along with it a few years after and was good! Not great but better then before. Then last year got worse. Doctor took me off Wellbutrin put me on buspar (7.5mg twice a day) Recently I have been feeling worse then ever. I need advice I’m desperate. ( I have sensiromotor ocd-I think about breathing and swallowing) should I take something else?

I was on Pedal to for many years as well, and eventually the effectiveness wore off. Have you been using the same pharmacist all of this time? Make sure your meds have not changed supplier/manufacturer. That can make a difference for many, including myself.

Make an appointment to discuss these things with your pharmacist. They know our meds and how they interact. Make sure they know about any herbs or vitamins too.

It was my pharmacist 15 years ago that saved my life. She saw the problem. She listened to what I was trying to say, and SHE refused to let me leave her sight until the Doctor called in the medicine he refused to give me the week before.

Actually it’s been about 3 different pharmacists I’ve been to I never realized it could be that. I recently talked to my obgyn because I want to get pregnant soon and she wanted me to put me on something different. So tonight I’m actually not taking my lexapro and going on 50mg of Zoloft and then in a week 100mg to help mainly with my ocd because just last year out of all these years realized I have that and that’s why I have all this anxiety/depression. Should i talk to my recent pharmacist now? The pharmacist I saw and got my meds years ago doesn’t have his place anymore so I can’t go to him. And with herbs and vitamins what do you mean by that? Tell them if I’m taking that as well?
