Has anyone else in this group develop ITP after getting their Covid 19 shot? One week after getting my first Pfizer Covid 19 shot I developed ITP. My count dropped to 3,000 and was hospitalized for a week getting a platelet transfusion and IVIG treatments. After 8 months of treatment I am now considered to have Chronic ITP. All my blood work before my Covid 19 shot shows that my platelet counts were well within the normal range.

Yes. After my second shot of Pfizer I developed ITP. When planning the Covid booster also Pfizer I first had weekly platelet counts following flu vaccine and platelets also fell. The day before my Covid booster had a blood check —— Vitamin D deficient!! Probably was when ITP diagnosed, phosphate was low and had been throughout. Starting taking vitamin D. My platelet drop following booster nothing like as bad as after flu vaccine.
I was diagnosed in June after my 2nd dose of Astra Zeneca, now chronic and on 50mg revolade daily. They would like to give me a booster but I am really worried it. Pretty scary really when it’s your blood that’s weird.
