Will she recover?

Im new here.My grnadmother is 72 and she recently undergone endoscopy which led to pancreatitis .it was healed after two days but then it led to lung infection .she is on ventilator now .all the organs are working properly but lungs are unable to perfom its activity.we cant shift her to another hospital as it is dangerous for her.if it continues like this ,doctor will do tracheostomy.it is 5th day now on ventilator .will she be cured ?is there a possibility to recover before doing tracheostomy

So sorry to hear about your grandma. I am sure she is in s good place being looked after. I have no experience of a trachetomy but wish you well for a fast recovery. Keep talking to her. Xx

They gave me a trachy and from what I have been told it saved my life I was fine with it, it doesn't cause any problems during or afterwards if they have to do let them it's in her interest x hope she recovers quickly
