Does anyone know how to get a referral to see a doctor who specializes in Hughes Syndrome in or around the Toronto area?

My doctor thinks its stress and doesn't want to investigate other options. I know from my symptoms though that I most likely have Hugh's Syndrome. Thank you so much for your help.

Hi there,

Sorry I can't help you with finding a doctor. Hopefully, someone else who also lives in Canada will respond to your question and be able to help.

I just wanted to say that it is very important to listen to your doctors but when they aren't listening to you, you need to find one who will! Too often these days stress seems to be used as a cover-all "diagnosis" by lazy doctors who are unwilling to look for the right answer.

Stay strong and open-minded and I hope you find someone to help you soon.

Good luck.

Yes... check the contact in Canada, they may know somebody nearer you or advise on the phone, worth a try, and do let us know when you have some sort of update. Mary F x
