Hi...I am in Boston and also just diagnosed. I found apsfa.org lists a few physicians in the boston area. I am supposed to be referred to a hematologist in Newton this week...still reeling from all of this. Let me know if you find anyone worth seeing and I will do the same. :)

Hi! I just looked at Brigham and Woman's Hospital in Boston. They have the lupus center specializing in APS. I am going to make an appointment to meet with them. I think we shouldn't waste time with other doctors. ...This sounds like the right place to go! You should check out the site......just google The Lupus Center at Brigham and Woman's Hospital and you can read about them. Let me know how you did , and I will do the same!

Hi - I was able to finally able to see Dr. Bonnie Bermas at Brigham and Womens. She practices in the city but also in Chestnut Hill. I had to fight to get a referral since my insurance felt the Hematologist/Oncologist I had seen first was sufficient, but I felt MUCH better after seeing Dr. Bermas. She is so much more knowledgeable.

That's wonderful!! They need to be added to the list for APS in America. I know Dr. Greco from Yale New Haven Hospital area. His daughter has APS. I think he is in Meridan Connecticut.

Luluspetals11, did you ever find a good Boston doctor? I was diagnosed about 10 days ago and my docs are not doing such a good job at deciding who should be helping me! I am at Beth Israel and the hemotologist says he can only help with blood part, and the rheumatologist says my PCP will treat me, and my PCP hasn't called me back in a week and a half. :-(
