I have been diagnosed with Lupus Anticoagulant and the letter states that this is in keeping with the diagnosis of Phospholid Syndrome.
Is Phospholid Syndrome same as APS or is it different?

do you mean phospholipid syndrome? I tried to google what you wrote and found nothing.
APS/ Hughes Syndrome is sometimes called phospholipid antibody syndrome
It is also known as : Antiphospholipid syndrome, it is the same as Hughes, it was named that after the doctor who 'found' it called Professor Hughes from the London St. Thomas' hospital.
Hope it helps : ) x

Hi all,
As far as I know there is LAS (Lupus Anticoagulant Syndrome), APS (Antiphospholipid Syndrome), ( Anticardiolipins) Sticky blood, and as Suzy says Phospholipid antibody syndrome. They are all names for Hughes Syndrome. I think I saw a blog somewhere about this, terrible brain fog can`t remember.
Hope all well, Take care, gentle hugs Jessielou, (Sheena) xxxxxx
Hi all
Is in Hughes Syndrome Foundation Blog, by Kate.
Also lists (AAS) Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome and Anticardiolipin Antibody Syndrome. Still all names for Hughes.
Take care all hugs Jessielou x sheena xxxxxxxxx
I find just calling it Hughes Syndrome is enough because if people look that up it always leads to APS or one of the others.
