Vitamin k and warfarin

A couple of days ago, someone posted a website for health discoveries , vitamin K2 and warfarin. Does anyone remember that post, or the person who posted it. I believe some of the content was about a supplement called Cardio For Life, and he was asking anyone had tried the product. Any help in remembering this post would be much appreciated. Thank you. Hope everyone is doing well. Cheers. Holly

Thank you Holly. I know I'll find it. It must of been on another site. It was such a good article. I know it's a little early, but Merry Christmas to young your family. I've finished everything early this year, which will give me more relax time before all the commotion . LOL

Sorry I don't know the article you are looking for, I use D3 and K2 together and have done for many years, they are fat soluble vitamins. I am also on Warfarin but LMWH is contraindicted for me as it sends my INR plummeting so I often use Nattokinase which is part of the K2 MK7 complex

INR is only relevant if you are taking warfarin. It has no relevance if using Heparin

Hi Jianna, How much D3 and K2, and what fat do you have with these supplements? Also what is LMWH, and what in it makes your INR plummet? What complex do you use? Sorry for all the questions. I hope you don’t mind answering. Cheers. Holly

Hi there, LMWH is low molecular weight heparin. It's the injections you self administer when you're level drops below your target range. I've used Fragmin and Enoxaparin both sent my INR plummeting which meant an increase in warfarin, the first time it went from 7mg daily to 15.5mg and took 6 weeks before I stopped injections. Second time I was hospitalised, so change from Fragmin to Enoxaparin on advice of APS specialist, same happened again. I believe, as do my doctors, that it was heparin induced thrombocytopenia. The D3 and K2 are drops in MCT oil, I take this after having my morning coffee, which had powdered mct topped with double cream.

This is just my journey, I have unstable INR so have to have weekly venous tests. Sorry reply is so long.
