I’ve used hyperbaric chambers… not for dental work, just for overall health. It went well. My vision changed for several weeks, but it went back to normal, about six weeks after the treatments concluded.

I used hyperbaric oxygen therapy for general well being (I have a couple of autoimmune conditions). It gave me a real energy boost however I couldn’t get past the ear pain it can cause (exactly the same as when a pain takes off).

If you look up the Multiple Sclerosis society online they operate these chambers across the UK and allow others to use them at a very reasonable price.

Around 30-45 minutes before your first session take a decongestant if you are allowed which helps with the ear pain, bring some reading material and a bottle of water, I seem to remember being in the pod for around an hour.

If you have claustrophobia it might not be the best idea for you, the pod I was in accommodated 10 people but it was compact and you are sealed in and for obvious reasons the seal cannot be opened immediately due to panic.

Good luck!
