Hi, my suggestion would be to photograph it when it flares as evidence for the GP, in case it disappears when you make an appointment! They may check you out for things like Sjogrens or Blepharitis and things like Dermatitis, however there could be very many possible reasons, so best get it checked out with your doctor. MaryF
Only when I have bad allergic reactions, especially hay fever. I use a lot of eye cream to stop my eyelids getting too dry.
I had mild version of your issue - mostly itchy eye lids. My spectacular ophthalmologist, ( the doc who suspected APS years before my diagnosis based on the appearance of my retina,) asked me to scrub my eyelids twice a day with either infant shampoo or a Theralid Scrub, then apply eye drops with omega 3. Plus add onega 3 supplements to my pill regimen. One year later and I lids no longer itch, and he is very happy with how my eyes have improved. He made some reference to autoimmunity, eyelid allergic inflammation and the onset of degenerations.
I take Clopidogrel and very often my eyelids or/and eyelashes itch. I’ve never thought of it being connected to APS though. Interesting to know!
