Hi could anyone help me please? I've been told I have a lupus anticoagulant in my blood.
DVVRT last week was 1.31
DVVRT three months ago 1.33
Eight months ago 1.22
High ESR 60-70
Fibrinogen 4.3 (normal<4)
History of TIA, possible stroke?
Miscarriage X 1 at 11 weeks
General feeling of heaviness/ache in legs after long haul flights --relieved by couple of days of Aspirin 300mg daily.
I was told I have lupus anticoagulant but don't need to worry or do anything by my rheumo at the time 3 months ago. I have oral biopsy due under general anaesthesia. I'm very concerned. Not getting much help from GP regarding this. I can not see Rheum before surgery. Any advise will be much appreciated. I know it will be from your personal experiences. I have been given the website for APS by a kind member.
Thank you so much.

Because by of high esr I was tested nearly a year ago, which showed DVVRT 1.22 then 6 months later was 1.33 and now 1.31. Ana was weakly positive with diffuse pattern 1:80 titre.
Rheumy said I have lupus anticoagulant but I don't need to worry about it. I asked him if I should take aspirin and he said no.. I don't know!! It seems different to all other things in reading.!
