I saw the cardiologist today to get the results of my TOE. As I'm recovering from my surgery, apparently my heart is also and won't need heart surgery in the near future but check ups every 6 months with an echo. (However she threw in the proviso that if my shortness of breath gets suddenly worse go straight to ED) I have the go ahead to start walking and increasing gradually distance. To throw a spanner in the works she did say that 'rarely' APS can cause Mitral valve disease. I think it's time for a 'common' disease!!
Mrs Blackbird gave me the 5 babies for Christmas. (makes watering the garden a bit tricky as I don't want to disturb her too much.) The nest is about 3m from my back door and she's happy to do her thing with us around. These were born 3 days ago.
Have a happy and healthy Christmas to all of you and stay well.

I've just got a new phone that must be smarter than me-I'm getting notifications about stuff over 6 months old😊 Better stick to my computer!!! I'm having trouble finding recent stuff. I will blame it on my Hughes!
I have recuperated! - the surgery was last November for bowel obstruction. I have felt really well these last few months and except for feeling puffed out on hills and stairs I could be you poster girl for old lady in peak health!😎. I'm sitting in the sunshine reading a book ATM -I don't know what's causing our fine spell but I won't complain about 25deg sunny days!
