Hi everyone I'm a bit puzzled about this as since I've been on clexane I haven't had my inr checked so I've no idea if I'm in range or not. Do I still need to be tested even though I'm on clexane twice daily. Any comments would be appreciated thanks

Clexane doesn't relate to INR, you don't need to have your INR checked unless you are on Warfarin.
You do still need your bloods checked by your APS specialist -
I was on Cleaxane for over 8 years - I only had my routine bloods done when seeing my APS consultant. Gone were the days waiting at the INR clinic several times a week!!!
Hi an INR test does not relate to being on Clexane, however at appointments with your main consultant they will probably look to see what is going on. MaryF
When I was on Clexane the haematologist only did a blood screen and clotting time every 6 months as a routine. It's a different test to INR and I think he only threw it in because I have really difficult veins and better to be stabbed a few times and check everything than to go back for a second time!
As a general guide Clexane is usually given twice a day at 10ml for every 10kg of body weight to be properly anticoagulated for APS. So 70kg person would get 70ml twice daily.
